Altius Gruppen AS is one of Norway’s main contributors in sale of therapeutic equipment. Our slogan is “Evidence-based treatment requires evidence-based products”, and this is the foundation for our focus on delivering good, research-based products for both professional and private use.
Our goal is to deliver good solutions and safe, effective products for many theapeutic purposes. We take pride in the fact that all our products are supported by research and aim to effectively help therapists and non-professionals have an easier life.
History of the firm
Altius Gruppen was started by Darren Stainsby, the owner and founder of the company, after he moved to Norway from Canada, and wanted to keep using the products he was used to and trusted. Therefore he started importing these products.
Darren started a sole proprietorship in 1999, used the contacts that he had, and quickly built a stable company. The company was turned into an “AS” in 2004 and has been steadily growing ever since. Today, Altius Gruppen AS is one of Norway’s main contributors in sale of therapeutic equipment.
The company has kept growing ever since the beginning, and in May 2020 we bought Steens Physical , and we are now welding, powder coating and assembling our own treatment tables.
