Information capsules (cookies):
Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer when you download a website.
Storage of information and processing of this information is not permitted unless the user has both been informed about and has given their consent to the processing.
The user must be informed about and approve which information is processed, what the purpose of the processing is and who processes the information, cf. The Electronic Communications Act § 2-7b.
Internet statistics:
We collect de-identified information about visitors to our website with Google Analytics.
The purpose of this is to prepare statistics that we use to improve and further develop the information offered on the website.
Examples of what the statistics provide answers to, are how many people visit various pages, how long the visit lasts, which websites the users come from and which browsers are used.
The information is processed in de-identified and aggregated form. De-identified means that we cannot trace the information we collect back to the individual user. We collect the entire IP address, but the IP address is de-identified so that only the first three groups in the address are used to generate statistics.
That is, if the IP address consists of the numbers 123.456.789.123, only 123.456.789.XXX is used.
In addition, the IP addresses are processed on an aggregated level, i.e. all data is combined into a group and not processed individually.

Who we are:
Altius Gruppen AS (NO986517065MVA). Our main focus is to think long-term and build good customer relationships through being honest and professional, and building trust with our customers.
We take 100% responsibility for delivering quality in everything we do. Here follows our privacy statement where we explain how we process and secure personal data about customers, employees, partners and other associated people.
We want this to be easily accessible and easy to get used to. Below you will find contact information if you have any further questions.
Who is responsible for processing data?
A data controller determines the purpose of a processing, i.e. the person who decides that personal data shall be stored, used, deleted and so on.
Altius Gruppen AS is responsible for processing all personal data that we register in our systems. In some support cases, we store customers’ back-up on our sites, and are then considered data processors. In these cases, we have a data processor agreement.
How, why and for how long do we process personal data?
Zirius ERP:
In our financial system Zirius ERP, names are stored as a reference when registering orders and invoices.
In some cases, the person’s e-mail address is stored, but most often it is the company’s postal or invoice e-mail that is used.
The information is deleted when the person is no longer a contact person for the company and we are notified of this.
E-mail:
In addition to email accounts for our employees, Altius Gruppen AS has a company email (info@altiusgruppen.no).
Names and e-mail adresses are stored here (as well as telephone numbers and other information that e-mails may contain). The company e-mail is used for, among other things, the sending of professional information, course invitations, additional sales and general communication with the market.
Information by e-mail is characterized as unstructured. Our employees have a conscious attitude to the deletion of information that is not necessary to fulfill Altius Gruppen AS’ purpose for processing personal data.
It must be possible to find unstructured information about a person if that person requires access.
Where do we get the information from?
We collect personal information from the customer’s company, the person himself (e.g. at fairs/stands etc.), the company’s website, Proff.no or the Brønnøysund Register.
Do we disclose information to third parties?
Altius Gruppen AS uses information in relation to the transport of goods to customers. But then only on an EDI note. The database is not stored with the carrier. Other than that, no information is shared.
How do we secure the information?
Altius Gruppen AS stores its databases on a server. Employees gain access to the server with a username and associated password.
We have carefully prepared and documented security and deviation routines, both with regard to securing the office, our servers, our systems, and the employees’ PCs and mobiles.
Altius Gruppen AS has a duty of confidentiality regarding the personal data we process.
Newsletter:
In order for us to be able to send e-mails, you must register an e-mail address. Mailchimp is the data processor for the newsletter and has its own privacy policy.
The e-mail address is stored in a separate database and deleted when you cancel the subscription. The e-mail address is also deleted if we receive feedback that it is not active. We will never share your email address with anyone else.
